(NERE) Job Description The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery, maintenance and support. This position is with the Agency Services area supporting MDE, CEPI, MCSC, MDCR, & MiLEAP. The Solutions Architect (SA) position is responsible for developing, administering, and enforcing system architecture plans, policies, and procedures at Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), ), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Lifelong Education, Advancement and Potential (MiLEAP), This includes the design, and implementation of Service Oriented Architecture to integrate application systems developed using SaaS solutions like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Services, Case Management and Salesforce to applications/services hosted on SOM infrastructure or other third-party systems external to the State, as well as .NET applications. The SA will attend technical analysis sessions for development projects and provide an enterprise and agency-wide viewpoint to the system requirements. The SA will validate architecture designs developed for (Agency's) system development projects as well as review and approve architecture designs submitted by third party or purchased software implementation projects. The SA will ensure the architectural design is consistent with the MDCR, MCSC, and MiLEAP Agency Services Division system development environments and will have the authority to approve the design of and changes to architecture components such as common middleware, services, and interface components; and provide the expertise to other technical resources in the creation and maintenance of such components or services. The SA will provide expertise and consultation to all DTMB (MDCR, MCSC, and MiLEAP) Agency Services system designers and developers. This position will work with the director, management, other enterprise architects, Solution Design Team, and EA Core Team. The office location is Lansing, MI. Vacation and Sick Leave:

Paid Parental Leave:

Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.

Paid Holidays:
