Compensation:
Initial base rate determined by skills and experience($35/hr
  • $40/hr.
) + $0.50/hr. shift bonus for any nights worked +$2/hr. for any on-call work plus O/T pay for all on-call hoursworked + O/T after 40 hours weekly (there is automatic O/T builtinto the shift structure weekly!) + up to 10% quarterly variableincentive plan bonus based on performance metrics + pay skillincreases based on certification/experience + holiday incentive pay+ yearly raises + $5K sign-on relocation available outside of 60mile radius from the plant. $90K

Position Description:
This position is part of company's flagshipinsulation (yes, think Pink Panther!) plant maintenance team. Thisplant has production line equipment and two melters processingfiberglass for insulation production. Maintenance Techniciansprimarily troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production systems andequipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install allequipment and systems in the plant to insure smooth operation,production, & safe working conditions.
Key duties include:
  • Troubleshooting & solving production and facility equipmentproblems during day-to-day operations.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment & systems toprevent downtime/deterioration.
  • Work assignments on projects for continued growth, expansion, &safety of the plant and work areas.
  • Work with outside contractors to perform installation orservice of equipment within the facility.
  • Assisting operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduledequipment cleaning/changeovers.
Requirements:
HS Diploma. Candidates must be maintenanceprofessionals with 2+ years industrial electrical systemsexperience troubleshooting & repairing industrial systems. Strongsystems-level electrical experience in typical working-levelingvoltage range required from 480V, 3-phase and below. Multi-crafttechnicians are preferred. Electrically you will be fixing motors,starters, variable-frequency drives, sensors, interfaces, relays,input/output controls, instrumentation and some robotics onproduction line equipment and systems. Candidates must haveexcellent input/output troubleshooting & be able to readschematics, blueprints, drawings formaintenance/troubleshooting/repair. Candidates should have abilityto share skills to help others develop, excellent communicationskills, and commitment to providing a high level of detail, pride,and safety towards system & equipment maintenance work, projects,and programs. Candidates must pass background and full-panel drugtest prior to employment.
