Requirements:
Job Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely inspection of parts using a variety of precision measuring tools (Romer Arm, CMM, Planar, hand tools, etc.) Understanding and using manufacturing ERP systems. Following instructions, procedures, specifications, and requirements for all jobs. Able to complete documentation properly and accurately according to HAW Quality standards. Interpreting customer drawings and performing inspection for conformance Critical thinking to uphold quality requirements in a fast pace, dynamic environment. Preferred understanding of AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap requirements but not required Able to perform visual weld inspection preferred but not required Ability to perform part marking, pressure testing, and daily calibration activities General shop housekeeping and following safety policies and guidelines.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required 1 - 2 years' experience in a Quality position in a manufacturing environment. Understanding of basic inspection gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Understanding of drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer specifications, internal procedures, and work instructions Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Required Technical Competencies:
1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2) Proficient Computer Skills a. Microsoft Office b. Experience with ERP Systems; Epicor Vista preferred. 3) A working understanding of Quality requirements, customer flow-downs, AS9100/ISO approvals. 4) Ability to communicate, ask clarifying questions and understand the workflow to properly troubleshoot issues.
