Our Human Resource team is focused on a positive culture and driving efficiencies. The successful candidate must also be able to effectively prioritize, possess sound reasoning/judgment skills, maintain a positive attitude and be a strong team player. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with our managers to attract experienced professionals to our team. We actively work in making CrossCountry Freight Solutions a progressive leader in freight services. We know that building a great company comes down to people!ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up to date for all open positions.
- Source passive candidates for difficult to fill positions on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook and more.
- Coordinate and conduct phone interviews for candidates.
- Maintain professional communication and confidentiality with candidates and employees with sensitive information.
- Actively managing the pre-screen process.
- Represent and promote the organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
- Assist with identifying continuous process improvements in all recruitment activities.
- Work closely with HR, management, and all teams within different sites.
- Supporting and back up of the onboarding process for all sites.
- Managing the process from candidate experience from application to end of training.
- Create, post and manage advertising and social media for region.
- Travel and participate in job fairs and career events.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
- Graduate from High School or equivalent (GED)
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Significant knowledge of HR functions.
- 2-4 years of recruitment/onboarding experience
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under limited supervision.
- Transportation experience preferred.
