Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator All Finish Concrete West Fargo, ND 58078 Heavy Equipment Operator All Finish Concrete, Inc. is seeking experienced and hardworking Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to assist in the completion of various projects. This includes but is not limited to operating backhoes, dump trucks, snowplows, bulldozers, road graters, front-end loaders, hydraulic excavators, pump trucks and other equipment as needed. This position may be eligible for Davis-Bacon wage rates and fringe benefits.
Responsibilities:
Operates trucks and construction or power equipment, such as backhoe, dump truck, snowplow, dozer, road grater, front-end loader, hydraulic excavators, pump truck, paver, curb/gutter machine and skid steers. Works with and assists crews in, hoisting material, tools, equipment, and any related work with a backhoe, road grater or front-end loader. Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment. Follow direction given by Foremen and Project Manager. Follow all company policies and procedures. Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Requirements:
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent. Valid Class A or B CDL Driver's License with an insurable driving record. Four years' experience involving the use of medium and heavy equipment. Knowledge of construction materials and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects up to 100lbs, ability to twist, bend, stoop on a consistent basis and work in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred Education and Experience Two years of heavy underground work. OSHA 10 hour certification. Five years of experience in the heavy construction industry.
