Accounting Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and assisting with account analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience in accounts receivable, and highly skilled in maintaining great customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Process and post customer payments to appropriate accounts Prepare and send out invoices to customers Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances Resolve billing discrepancies and issues Conduct account analysis to identify trends or potential issues Assist with revenue cycle management, including coding and data entry Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payment collection Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions Establish and maintain relationships with customers, internal and external

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar role (2+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding billing inquiries or issues Strong ability to solve discrepancies with urgency and professionalism is highly preferred Advanced proficiency in Excel We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
