The Civil Group at Leidos is seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to important programs and work on cutting-edge multi-cloud environments. You ll play a critical role in engineering solutions, automating deployments, enforcing compliance, and enabling efficient cloud operations.Primary Responsibilities:
Specifically, in this role you will be responsible for: Cloud Administration Deployment of cloud resources and managing resource lifecycles, compliance, and access rights. Development and execution of deployments using infrastructure-as-code and usage of DevOps pipelines to operate cloud-native services and deployments. Monitor and manage FinOps dashboards and overall cloud and resource costs. Ensure the integrity and functional performance of data streams. Develop and implement cloud governance strategies including but not limited to finops, guardrails, compliance, & tagging strategies. Network Infrastructure Implement highly available network architectures and manage network security and network routing in a hybrid-cloud environment. Manage IP based access rules, network address sourcing, and CIDR lists/lists. Implement and operate cloud based VPNs, VPN Gateways, peering connections, private-links, and endpoint services. Collaboration Communicate effectively and promptly with DevSecOps teams to implement appropriate cloud-native solutions and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the system and network infrastructure including diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures. Participate in in-house training programs to foster and spread knowledge and awareness to project teams, promote and empower decision making, and manage incident reports. Identify and implement cost-saving improvements and operational efficiencies over the lifespan of projects and resources. Enable successful project outcomes by participating in application development lifecycles and building applications-as-code.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field + 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree). Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and AWS environments. Understanding of cybersecurity practices and Azure Sentinel. Strong knowledge ofDNS, VPN, DHCP, TLS, IP
routing, subnetting. Experience with automation and infrastructure tasks. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Public Trust Clearance eligibility.Preferred Qualifications:
Master s degree in Computer Science or related field. Certifications such as: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, CISSP. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Policy, or Azure EntraID. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
