Essential Job Functions:
Give customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available at the How to Build Center with which their needs can be addressed. Diagnose errors or service problems to determine proper solutions. Repair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area swine facilities. Cooperate and communicate with service team and shares information across the organization. Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern hog facilities. Prior experience working with the systems found in modern swine facilities (ventilation, feeding/watering, heating) is preferred, but willing to train. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High level of customer service focus. Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment. Possess mechanical skills to perform maintenance tasks. Maintains a clean and safe working environment, attention to unloading / loading trucks and moving equipment. Supports a consistent professional image of the company. Observes safety policy and procedure. Positive Attitude and reacts calmly under pressure. Commitment to dependability and willingness to work to meet goals and deadlines. Prefer experience in field service, animal husbandry or related field. High school diploma or GED. Approved safe driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands. Ability to work in outdoor elements. Ability to Occasionally works around livestock.
