We are looking for a full-time mobile Aggregate Equipment Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities :
Perform hands-on field and shop repairs, welding, and technical support for AIS customers. Diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of various aggregate crushing, washing, and screening plants. Perform screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, water pump service, annual inspections, etc. Perform welding/fabrication as needed Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment required to perform maintenance and repairs Requisition parts and secure any equipment or trucking needed to complete repair Communicate with internal and external customers, vendors, and contractors in professional manner Utilize tablet/laptop to update job notes daily
Requirements :
18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Heavy equipment repair training or equivalent experience Proficient knowledge of aggregate equipment Mig and Tig welding experience Torching experience Fabrication experience Ability to read/interpret micrometers Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling Able to perform work on uneven surfaces, frequently climb ladders and on/off equipment, and work from various heights Able to lift or move 75lbs on a routine basis Able to work in conditions that include loud noise and fumes, work on and around heavy and moving machinery, bend, walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time and use hand tools Must be able to pass a background/credit check and drug screening
