Full Job Description Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
The role of a Generative AI Architect involves designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of generative artificial intelligence models and systems. This position requires a deep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, as well as the ability to integrate these systems into existing architectures. Key responsibilities include innovating and optimizing AI models, ensuring their ethical application, and collaborating with various teams to translate business needs into effective AI solutions. Advanced technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication are essential for success in this role. Our Way of Working We're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design and implement generative AI models (especially genAI) and systems which are highly scalable, reliable and ethical. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems (built mainly JAVA/J2EE/Spring technologies and frameworks). Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies. Optimize and refine AI models for efficiency and accuracy. Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI systems and architectures. Define best practices in building and deploying the AI/genAI applications to the agile teams. Ensure the ethical use of AI and adherence to data privacy laws. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand the business problems and identify the opportunities and challenges for AI / genAI solution. Lead technology forums for AI/genAI bring different verticals in engineering together. Provide technical mentorship for the lead developers working on AI/genAI solutions. Working closely with other solution architects across the organization in creating awareness, building new and integrating the AI/genAI solutions in the existing systems etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or 7 years related experience. 2 + years Proven experience in designing and implementing generative AI models. 2 + years Experience with machine learning frameworks ( TensorFlow / PyTorch / Keras ) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). 5 + years Knowledge of cloud platforms and services like AWS, Azure, PCF and GCP 5 + years Adequate experience in experience in designing and developing applications using microservices architecture and cloud technologies like Spring boot, Maven, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, React, Junit, Mockito, Bootstrap CSS, Node, NPM and Splunk. 5 + years Good exposure to RDBMS like oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL Understanding of Microservices SOLID principle, 12 factors app, microservice design patterns Strong understanding of Containerized application development and knowledge of deploying applications in PCF/Kubernetes Cluster. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Desired Characteristics:
Prior AI, Virtual Assistant, or Emerging Technologies e.g.) Robotic Process Automation, Optical Character Recognition, Natural Language Processing, or Advanced Machine Learning. Moderate of minimal exposure to at least one of Azure open AI, Amazon Sage maker and bedrock, Google vertex AI. Very good exposure and understanding about genAI landscape. Hands-on experience in the proactive, passionate improvement of digital processes and practices to optimize business value delivery. Moderate experience in Agile Scrum / SAFe Agile. Ability to expertly remove obstacles for the team or direct obstacles to appropriate owners for resolution quickly. Comfortable working with and influencing a wide range of roles and levels. Ability to manage multiple of tasks and associate with matrixed teams in parallel is helpful. Self-starter with ability to accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion, to work as individual contributor, mentor junior level staff, and to contribute as part of a larger team.
Grade/Level:
12 The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
