Corpus Christi | Information Technology | Full Time $ 22.72-37.22 USD Grade Overview The IT Support Analyst I is responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting specific customer support calls as assigned to almost all aspects of computer operations. They are required to work as a team member to resolve issues and to set up, deliver, and pick up computer equipment. They are also required to have exceptional customer service skills and possess knowledge based skills in a specific technology area to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely manner. Responsibilities
  • Must be able to clearly communicate, understand, and provide explanations to end users
  • Coordinate a time to visit the customer to further investigate an issue
  • Lend support to various business and technology teams
  • Must respond to and resolve incidents assigned by an issue tracking ticketing system
  • Implement remote tools or hands on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, and configuring peripherals and applications
  • Test fixes to ensure the problem has been adequately resolved
  • Perform post-resolution follow ups to service desk requests
  • Collaborate with other IT staff as necessary to resolve issues
  • Responsible for keeping the computer imaging and imaging server up to date with drivers for the models of desktops that we have in our environment
  • Responsible for prepping new or leased equipment, scheduling a time with customer for installation, and recovering the old units
  • Must be dependable and diligent, investing time and energy to complete each task assigned
  • Must be flexible to perform other duties as assigned to ensure reliable working operations
  • Must be resourceful in researching knowledge bases, technical books, web publications, vendor support services, etc. in order to find and utilize solutions
  • Performs other related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required. Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
  • Non-Exempt - Full-Time
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience Licenses and Certifications Required
  • A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire Required within six (6) months of hire
  • CompTIA A+ Certification Employment Testing Employment is contingent on passing any post-offer pre-employment screening as listed below:
