The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position SummaryThe Energy Management Systems Mechanic performs operations as required by job work order and/or blueprint or diagram in preventive maintenance and repairs of various types of HVAC equipment by microprocessor and makes adjustments either form central point or in the field.
ResponsibilitiesAdjust equipment operations to reflect building occupancy schedules, economical energy usage and to increase occupant comfort levels or provide proper. environmental levels for equipment operations.
Troubleshoots building HVAC equipment systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or the equivalent required.
Five (5) years' experience in HVAC required.
Must be experienced in the maintenance and repairs of all types of package air conditioning units, pumps, PRV stations, air compressor, and temperature controllers under minimum supervision.
