Job Description

Prepare centralized data by leveraging Pizza Hut internal platforms and tools like Scala, Java, Python, Spring Framework, Apache Spark, and SQL by developing Extract, Transform &Load (ETL) pipelines to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of databases/data warehouses and platforms like Snowflake, MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, SQL Server, etc. Develop, test, and maintain well-managed big-data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers using AWS cloud services like API Gateway, S3, Code Pipelines, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Amazon MSK, etc. Take end-to-end ownership of the projects across the entire stack, with a stronger emphasis on backend development. Work as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional development team following continuous delivery practices and highly optimized and efficient code. Build in-house or recommend deployment of tools to monitor and control data quality to business data owners and determine the level of business impact for data quality issues. Contribute ideas and explore new technology while gaining insights into the agency's core functions to identify opportunities for improving the performance of existing software and refine technical user stories. Participate in Agile methodology and sprint planning meetings, requirement validations, sprint retrospective, and work with Technical Product Manager and team to analyze possible solutions for design and working with business on requirements. Troubleshoot applications, system issues, and propose the best possible solutions to restore the work of existing scalable applications.

Position is based out of headquarters in Louisville, KY. Telecommuting permitted.
