Police Officer - Town of Bow Police Department The Town of Bow Police Department is seeking a motivated individual with strong writing and communication skills, a passion for working with the community to solve problems, and the confidence to join our progressive, community-oriented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for traffic duties, investigations, crime prevention, and community engagement initiatives. We are looking for a dedicated professional committed to providing the highest quality of safety services while upholding courtesy and professionalism, ensuring fair and equitable treatment for all. The selected officer will offer law enforcement and community-oriented services to a residential population of approximately 8,500, along with three schools and numerous businesses. Bow is conveniently located between Concord and Hooksett, with Interstate 93 and 89 intersecting in town and Route 3-A running through it.Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range:
$59,155.00 .40 thru $72,072.00 annually, wages can be negotiated based on years of service for Full-Time Certified Officers. Eleven (11) paid holidays. Medical, dental, and life insurance. Accrual of annual and sick leave. Officers typically work a 4/3 schedule, rotating every three (3) months. Participation in the New Hampshire Retirement System Group II. Full uniform and equipment provided by the department.Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be at least 21 years old by the anticipated date of the agility test. High school diploma or equivalent required. Candidates must meet the minimums for Physical Fitness Testing, with re-testing every three years.Examination Process:
The selection process includes a written test, physical agility test, Police Oral Board, polygraph examination, thorough background investigation, psychological evaluation, medical screening, and drug screening.To Apply:
