Aerial Lineman Eastcomm Ltd Stevensville, MD Eastcomm Ltd is looking for qualified linemen to install coax and fiber optic cable. 2+ Years of experience required. Must be able to read prints and have knowledge of SHA traffic control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Placement of fiber optic & coax cables Climbing Working on aerial spans Splicing of active & passive equipment for CATV Attaching strand Lashing cable, applying tension to cable Install/ Repair of ADSS fiber optic cable Install/ Repair using NESC codes Understanding of separation and clearance regulations Ability to safely operate a bucket truck Properly climb poles with ability to safely use ladders Utilize standard telecommunications tools Access various installation points Access construction points as required Flexibility to work in multiple locations Work outside in varying conditions Work mandatory overtime as required Required experience: 2-3 years of aerial lineman, telecommunications experience preferred but not required A valid, unrestricted driver's license Must be at least 18 years old Commercial driver's license preferred but not required Clean driving record A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent Proficient in new build, coax & fiber installation and pole transfers Knowledge in building strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding Candidate should be able to perform all duties in CATV construction ( such as ; pole transfers, maintenance builds, over lash, fiber optics, and strand construction ) Building and repairing aerial telecommunication lines Ability to lift up to 100lbs Work aloft and climb poles up to 32 feet For consideration, candidates must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test Ability to set up & maintain safe work Areas Ability to work in all weather conditions required
