  • ANEU Med Spa We are a locally owned medical spa in McFarland, WI, minutes from Madison, in the process of expanding our company so we are looking for another Medical Assistant, who is passionate about this industry to join our team, assisting our primary Nurse Practitioner.
This person will play an integral role in ensuring all aspects of the patient care experience runs smoothly and efficiently. They will be a key liaison, for our medical weight loss program as well
  • ideally passionate about health and wellness! Education and Experience Minimum 1-year experience working in professional office environment Minimum 1
  • year experience of excellent customer service Medical Assistant License (
  • pharmacy technician may be considered) Experience in a cosmetic medicine clinic is preferred
High School Diploma Essential Skills and Abilities:
High Level of professionalism Proficient with computer skills
  • preferred medical charting experience
  • ability to navigate numerous product ordering sites, Nextech medical charting, and various other general computer programs Ability to provide strong customer service and create a luxe experience for each client Polite, kind, considerate, and friendly Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of injectable services, skin and laser services, and skin care products to educate clients Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and stay on task with regular interruptions Good problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work as a team member Well-organized with high attention to detail Treats patients and co-workers with respect Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns High level of interpersonal skills Participating and attending in-service educational programs, staff meetings, and clinic events.
Ensuring cleanliness/tidiness of reception area/waiting area to maintain pristine client and work environment Assisting with laundry as needed
Responsibilities:
Primary Focus:
Assisting our Clinic Director/APNP with direct patient care. This involves room prep and preparing patients for popular services: Botox/Dysport, Dermal Fillers, Sculptra, etc. Filing prescriptions for our medical weightloss program. This includes following up with patients regarding their weightloss progress to ensure they stay on track with their medication schedule/goals. The client is the #1 priority and ensuring the client has an excellent experience from check-in to check-out Efficient utilization of all software programs. Able to work quickly between multiple programs. (Nextech, Office, Google docs, Alle, Aspire, McKesson, etc.) Assisting clients with scheduling future appointments. Processing cash, check, and credit card transactions. Highly versed in all of our services and treatments to effectively educate clients on what we offer and what might be best for them
  • but always referring to providers making the final decision Continual communication and follow-up with providers on patient updates, requests, appointment changes, etc.
Ability to assist clients with basic skincare needs or refer to providers for guidance on skincare treatment plans After training completion, must be able to work with minimal supervision. Expected to coordinate APNP's schedule working along with the other Medical Assistant. (Our APNP runs two clinical treatment rooms all day) Schedule 36

Alternating week to week, working from the McFarland location to the West Madison/University Ave location . Wage & Benefits Starting at $20/hr. Pay is based on experience and will grow as you grow with our company!
