Job Description
Duties:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and maintain the AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, performance, and availability. Collaborate with cross regional SRE team to provide round-the-clock support, promptly resolving incidents and ensuring minimal downtime. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and utilize IaC practices to manage and provision cloud resources consistently and repeatedly. Use tools like Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment.Automating Workflows:
Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and workflows, streamlining operations for better efficiency and reducing human error. Use tools like Jenkins and GitHub actions to automate manual workflow.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively. Continuously optimize AWS resources for cost-effectiveness and performance.Security and Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis:
Lead incident response efforts to minimize service disruptions. Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents. Encourage a DevOps culture by collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to promote effective communication and shared responsibility. Telecommuting permitted within the MSA 3 days per week. Requires a High School Diploma plus 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related role. This role requires 3 years experience in DevOps/SRE management position. This role requires 2 years experience in the following:- AWS Cloud Services.
- Docker orchestration platform.
- Scripting (Bash and Python).
- Configuration management tools
