Full Job Description Manufacturing Technician Location :
Oxnard, CA Duration :
12 months with possible extension/possible contract to hire
Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support various manufacturing functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers to assist with set-up, calibration, and process adjustments. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing rework and conducting quality testing to ensure the integrity of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies during production.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers to support set-up and calibration tasks, ensuring that equipment and processes are in line with production requirements. Perform rework on components as necessary to meet established quality and operational standards. Conduct quality testing on parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies, ensuring adherence to product specifications and industry standards. Utilize advanced software and systems to collect and evaluate operational data, performing real-time adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Assist in the development and implementation of methods and procedures designed to control or modify manufacturing processes for improved efficiency, quality, and throughput. Work with engineers to conduct experiments focused on process improvement, innovation, and resolving manufacturing challenges.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, set-up, calibration, and quality control. Ability to collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production workflows. Proficient in using manufacturing software, data collection tools, and other relevant technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement. Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
