The Police Officer is certified by the State of Arkansas to enforce law and safeguard our campusmunity.Primary responsibilities include the following:
Engage with members of themunity to build positive relationships, addressmunity issues, and promote trust and cooperation. Conduct proactive patrols in assigned areas to deter criminal activity and maintain order. Enforce traffic laws and regulations, conduct traffic enforcement and respond to accidents to ensure road safety. Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, ensuring public safety and providing assistance as needed. Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies, emergency services, andmunityanizations to address public safety concern and implement crime prevention strategies. Maintain accurate records of incidents, arrests, and activities and prepare detailed reports for documentation and analysis. This position is governed by law enforcement standards, state and federal laws, and agency policy. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with othersQualifications:
