Your key tasks and responsibilities will include: Collect, enter, analyze, organize, scan and file all production, downtime, and test data and data paperwork. This includes collecting, organizing, filing, reporting missing vision maps for lines 2 and 3. Order and maintain inventory to prevent shortages of operating and process production supplies utilized on all lines. Deliver supplies when received. Maintain and organize storage rooms. Maintain inventories of office and laboratory supplies including most printer supplies. Replace and maintain inventory of all breakroom and office kitchenette supplies. Perform product testing and other nonwoven related laboratory work when needed. Collect full laboratory data sheet boxes, store and discard at proper intervals. Clean laboratories at proper intervals. Conduct micro and water sampling on all lines as needed. Maintain inventory, organize, cut, and replace product samples when needed or when changes are made to product. Prepare and ship to vendors and customers when needed. Store obsolete samples. Discard at proper intervals. Update and maintain visual samples for the lines including visual standard book samples and poster size visual edge board samples. Locate laboratory retains for the Quality department when needed for claims, comparison or samples. Perform shipping procedures of FedEx packages for all departments. Drop off packages when needed. Deliver mail and packages to recipients in all offices and both production plants. Conduct forklift training for new hires as needed. Check and sign off on AED's monthly and replace batteries when needed. Check and change hazardous waste bags in the laboratories and disposed in proper containers for shipment when full. Read and understand procedures, test methods, product specifications, and support quality management system. Complete monthly KPI trend charting and reporting in company systems. Collaborate and work with other departments on projects and serve as a backup for other departments as needed. Work Experience / Education High School diploma required. Additional technical education a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Basic math and have thorough knowledge of all internal computer systems and should be able to generate technical reports when needed. Read, write, and speak English with an emphasis on grammar and writing skills. Must be able to upgrade job skills through participation in Company training programs as needed. Strong leadership, integrity, candor, and communication skills. Will need to communicate internally and externally at all levels of the organization. Needs to be a cooperative, friendly, motivated, self-driven individual with extreme attention to details. Must have the ability to follow up and respond to others efficiently and effectively. Physical Demands Ability to support varying shift schedules and weekend coverage. Ability to handle up to 50 lbs. Exposure to dust, vibration, noise, heights, elevated platforms, confined spaces, chemicals, temperature variation and rotating equipment. Ability to use personal protective equipment is required. Must have high manual dexterity and sustained close visual attention.
