Dealer indirect lending experience preferred. Must be able to maintain quality service standards, work well with others and have excellent communication skills. Offers a flexible schedule including some weekends for Saturday business hours and applicable holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating loan decisions and packages for dealership applications. Daily communications with F&I managers to promote a healthy, vibrant programs that are mutually beneficial.
Job Duties:
Coordinate and process the aspects of the day-to-day operations of Indirect lending. Apply independent judgment that aligns with bank policies and guidelines, tolerances and in adherence to regulatory guidelines to reach a sound decision, mitigating loan risk for all loan applications. Research and analyze applicant data as necessary to ensure mitigated risk. Provide adverse actions according to proper regulatory guidelines. • Underwrite and approve loan applications in a timely manner using discretion based upon established policies and procedures. Positively convey stipulations and decisions to dealers, customers, and members. Serve as a resource to Processors and Loan Fulfillment Associates on underwriting questions. • Communicates with dealers, lenders, and customers regarding loan details, required documentation and any other questions. Essential Skills Some experience in consumer lending or the completion of Consumer Lending Underwriter Training Program. Analytical skills with the ability to calculate lending ratios, conduct loan risk analysis and properly identify credit issues, fraud and/or other associated lending risks. Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences. Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines in a high-volume production environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to apply sound independent judgment Basic understanding of loan contracts including APR, amortization schedules, and simple interest calculations.
