THE POSITION

The Field Support Specialist spends most of their day on the road supporting our team and installation crews picking up and dropping off materials. This includes delivering and picking up dumpsters/trailers in a Class 5 F-550 hook lift. You will assure all job sites are setup, stocked, and cleaned up in a timely and professional manner. When not picking up and delivering materials, time is spent assuring our fleet of vehicles and warehouse are clean and organized. This position splits time between the shop and the field. Coordinate with Production, Crews, and Vendors to achieve superior performance and profitability. This job will require some long days, some evenings, and some weekends. During our busy season there is opportunity for significant overtime. During the slower months you will be guaranteed 40 hours/week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Shop

• Maintain organized and appropriate shop inventory
• Maintain building grounds
• Maintain fleet maintenance schedule Field
• Clean, precise, and accurate job setups
• Timely and accurate material deliveries from vendors to job sites
• Meticulous and timely job cleanups
• Timely and accurate material returns to vendors Administrative
• Assure inventory changes are recorded and accurate
• Assure material pickup and return tickets are properly labeled and handed in
• Assure fleet records are current and correct

WORKLOAD DISTRIBUTION

• In the field/Driving 20%

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• CDL required (Class A preferred)
• Thrives working independently

• Employee is responsible for maintaining a fully functional smartphone
• A valid Connecticut Driver's License with clean driving record

• $25
• 35/hr paid weekly. Depending on Experience
