Van Collision Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry with a competitive compensation range of $80,000 to $130,000 per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, restoring and refinishing damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. We are not looking for a "job hopper". Our turnover in this dealership is far below industry standard and we want to keep it that way. We are a BUSY shop. We are a Subaru Certified Collision Center as well as Chevrolet and Cadillac. We have great relationships with all the BIG DRP's. Perform body and structural repairs on damaged vehicles using appropriate tools, equipment, and parts Follow manufacturer and industry guidelines for all repairs and refinishing Accurately diagnose and assess damage on vehicles and provide detailed repair estimates Continuously monitor and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the work area Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure high-quality repairsRequirements:
High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience as a body shop technician or apprentice Knowledge of various repair and refinishing techniques for different types of vehicles Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license.
