Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join its team.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

Processing daily mail, emails Process and verify invoices for payment Routing and entering invoices in SAP Setting up new vendors Handling tax-related tasks Verifying expenses reports Backup and support to other accounting office roles Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred. Good oral and written communication skills Knowledge of accounting, along with mathematical skills Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or in similar role preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Keyboarding and computer skills, proficient in MS Office, and SAP accounting software Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to read and write the English language Ability to work independently and as part of a team Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour.
