OSHA-10 Certification within last 5 years is required. Daily per diem will be offered for travelers outside local area.

Heavy Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to operate skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc. with keen precision as to not hit underground utilities and pipelines
• Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality
• Document regular maintenance checks to maintain adequate records of equipment performance
• Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality
• Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all company safety procedures
• Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience working as operator of heavy equipment
• Must possess current equipment certifications
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment
• Reliable and strong work ethic
