$22.89 an hour + $.75 shift differential ConAgra Brands in Marshall Missouri, a local supplier of Banquet products, is looking for qualified individuals to fill city driver positions in the shipping/receiving department. To work any shift or workweek. Overtime availability is based on our needs. Conagra Brands offers the following: Wages starting at $22.89 per hour plus shift differential. Excellent benefit package Up to 10 paid Holidays per year 401K and vacation Employee Assistance Program Company Store Position overview: You will report to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor. You will be located onsite in Marshall, MO. Operate semi-truck to transfer trailers to needed location. You will have the following requirements: Frequently climb 14" steps and 2, 3" steps Frequent driving tractor switcher Frequent sitting and reaching At least one year of manufacturing experience. Requires proper licensing (Class A CDL License) DOT requires current DOT Physical High School Diploma or GED. Post Offer Drug Screen and Background screen. Position Responsibilities include: Startup You will perform Pre / Post trip safety check on the vehicle following DOT regulations. Locate and Attach Trailer Locate Yard Tractor• in the yard, climb into the vehicle (using a handle 60" from ground level and (2) vertical steps 12" to 20" up to the cab floor at 36") and bring (18" to 24" reach to controls) it to the loading dock. Attach the trailer to the Yard Tractor, manually crank the landing gear up (reach 18" /42" above ground /50 lb. push to turn up) and connect the brake lines. Transport Trailers To and From Loading Dock Guide the Yard Tractor and Trailer to the appropriate loading dock or yard storage location. Secure Trailer / Remove Tractor Secure the trailer by manually cranking the landing gear to the ground (reach 18" /42" above ground /40 lb. push to turn down) and removing the 5th wheel pin (32" reach/ 45" above ground level/ 50lb. static pull to release). Maintenance and Clean-up Conduct trailer inspections to identify holes, leaks, or any other damage or wear. Guide the Yard Tractor or Tractor to fuel island for fueling and appropriate daily service. Clean out cab of tractor and place all trash in proper receptacle.
