We are seeking skilled Electrical Technicians with experience in maintenance and engineering environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a willingness to support additional duties as needed. This role involves performing highly skilled work in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical assemblies.Key Responsibilities:
Lay out, assemble, test, and install apparatus and equipment based on blueprints, schematics, sketches, and verbal instructions. Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Install, repair, and service specialized mechanical equipment, machinery, panels, and wiring harnesses. Prepare for tasks by reviewing assembly instructions, technical documents, blueprints, and part lists to understand job requirements. Align, fit, and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and blueprints. Verify component specifications through measurement and testing. Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical school certifications preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience. Experience in Rail/rolling stock is a plus.Qualifications and Skills:
Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic troubleshooting skills. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Self-motivated and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
