New Business and Renewal Spcialist (HYBRID) 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars Chicago, IL 60631
  • Hybrid work Hybrid Work Environment Responsible for overseeing all aspects of new business implementation and renewals for Consumer-Driven Health Plans (CDHPs).
This includes managing Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), commuter plans, Premium Only Plans (POP), COBRA plans, and other products as needed to meet business requirements. New Business Implementation Handles all aspects of new business implementation FSA, HRA, HSA, Commuter, POP, and COBRA plans from initial contact. Is responsible for the tracking, management, and successful implementation of assigned new business cases. Receives new cases and initiates conference calls to obtain plan information. Works with Brokers and Employers to obtain required documentation for implementation. Reviews all documentation for accuracy and completeness. Documents all communications in SharePoint and CRM, with updates as needed throughout the installation process Responsible for system set-up of new cases including, FSA, HRA, HSA, POP, Commuter, and COBRA plans. Renewals Serves as a dedicated renewal representative to Employers and Brokers throughout the plan renewal process for all assigned groups and plans. Is responsible for the tracking, management and successful completion of the assigned renewal account. Regularly follows up with employers and brokers via calls and emails to ensure the renewal is completed in a timely manner and all changes are implemented properly. Ensures all plans, notes, and related documents are thoroughly completed and updated accurately prior to audit for final review. Creates and updates policy records in CRM as needed. Completes all renewal-related follow-up communications with Employer and Broker throughout the year including amendments, bank changes, service satisfaction follow-ups, Employer website overviews, and more. Requirements Education High school diploma plus thorough knowledge of employee health insurance benefits, specifically for Defined Contribution plans.
Preferred:
2-year college degree and/or specialized training in employee benefits preferred.
Experience:
2-3years customer service and administrative experience including at least two years working with a combination of pre-tax, health-related employee benefits, including Cafeteria Plans, Health Reimbursement Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Transit/Parking Reimbursement Accounts, and COBRA, along with a general understanding of group health insurance benefits. Strong proficiency (1-2 years) with Microsoft Office applications and CRM database software. Intermediate Excel skills are required. Performance Skills Strong organization and time management skills to handle diverse duties and a wide range of procedures Adaptable to changes and new work requirements. Must be customer service oriented and provide high customer service to our clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to send, lead, and manage conference calls and meeting requests for assigned new business and renewal groups. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while remaining professional, courteous, and helpful. Ability to learn provisions of CDHP products and in-house database software. Ability to perform at highest level of accuracy while independently performing analysis of situations and prioritizing work to meet department deadlines and established quotas Your X Factor!
