Responsible for the proper storage and flow of material into and out of the Warehouse. Performs inventory stock checks and cycle counting as required. Interfaces with the warehouse personnel to measure and ensure inventory accuracy. Informs Purchasing of any out of balance discrepancies. Negotiates and processes returns, credits and advance replacements as needed. Ensures that all defective material is repaired or discarded per company guidelines within timelines established by the Materials Control Manager. Ensures accuracy of requested count and part numbers requested for all material received and shipped via Tech's major carriers. Continually thinks of best shipping methods to meet the customers' timelines while reducing waste or extra shipping costs. Distributes product throughout Tech's complex as needed. Complies with and strictly adheres to company safety guidelines and/or company safety policies in performing assigned job duties. What you need as a Material Control Generalist High school diploma or GED equivalent Three years of warehouse experience utilizing computer techniques. Experience with automated material transaction processing. Two years' experience using computer systems, including MS Office. We're an equal opportunity employer.
