$26•$30 per hour +Overtime Schedule:
2X2X3 Day Shift Schedule (6:00 AM•6:00 PM rotation)Position Summary:
PMCO is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support production excellence through robust inspection, data collection, and quality control initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying issues, analyzing quality data, and recommending process improvements.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products using appropriate tools and methods. Accurately record inspection results, summarizing defects, reworks, and scrap in quality tracking systems. Collaborate with production teams by training staff on quality control practices and monitoring compliance with Work Instructions (WIs). Utilize statistical tools to compile, analyze, and report quality metrics for internal review. Investigate product defects and assist in root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods. Recommend improvements to quality documentation (WIs) to enhance performance and reduce waste. Provide timely quality updates and hourly reporting to management. Support audits and help maintain continuous improvement of quality systems and procedures.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required) Previous experience in manufacturing in a technical or quality-focused role Familiarity with PV module manufacturing (preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and statistical software Experience with quality analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams Interested? !Job Type:
