The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our team supporting our Worksite Group. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and delivering innovative learning solutions that enhance customer experience (CX), engage employees, and support the growth and performance of our organization. As a trusted consultant, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, recommend solutions, implement, and deliver programs that elevate skills, behaviors, and outcomes for employees and customers at all levels. The Team The Strategy and Planning Team is the heartbeat of the Worksite Channel. We drive KPI and Executive reporting, readiness, training, financial planning and deployment support to bring accountability to the organization. We understand and communicate the health of the business to Sr. Leadership as well as our front-line teams. We are looking to expand on our small organization with someone who shares our passion of working collaboratively and focusing on our customer. This role would partner with Learning and Performance teams across MassMutual. Those teams consist of diverse roles all working to create industry-leading learning experiences. Key competencies include adaptability, creativity, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. We work closely with stakeholders across the organization, from new hires to senior leaders, to meet evolving business needs. The Impact:
The Learning & Development Consultant will play a critical role in fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and excellence across the Worksite organization. By consulting with stakeholders and delivering impactful learning solutions, this role will: Elevate customer experience (CX), empower employees, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and bridge gaps between sales, operations, and leadership through aligned learning initiatives that improve communication and efficiency. By supporting organizational goals, this role will help create a highly capable, customer-focused workforce that feels supported, valued, and aligned with the company's mission. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED/HiSET 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Organizational Consulting, instructional design, facilitation, or a related role with a strong focus on performance improvement. 2+ years of experience in conducting training needs assessments, gap analysis, and performance consulting. 2+ years of experience using analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. 2+ years of hands-on experience with learning technologies (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Learning Theory, Organizational Development, Business Strategy, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Organizational Consulting, or a related role with a strong focus on performance improvement. Certification in performance consulting or coaching methodologies (e.g., ISPI, ASTD). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with all levels of leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Previous Facilitation Experience. Salary Range:
