Job Description Solar Technician Darien, WI Aboutthe Site The Solar & Battery Storage site is situated outside of Darien,WI. Position Overview As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible foroperating and maintaining Solar & Battery Storage project sites. BatteryEnergy Storage Systems (BESS) help balance the supply and demand ofenergy. BESS works by timing their charging and discharging with thedemands of the grid. Responsibilities \

• Perform routine mechanical,electrical maintenance and inspections on associated equipment \
• Wearing all required safety equipment, to inspect, maintain, or repairequipment. \
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of allcomponents of a battery storage facility and associated equipment \
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replacecomponents \
• Maintain company tooling, facilities and equipment and aclean safe work environment \
• Work a 40 hour work week and be subjectto scheduled and unscheduled overtime. The work schedule will varyduring the peak maintenance periods \
• Support BESS and Solar sitesthroughout the Midwest. Required Skills \
• High School Diploma orequivalent required \
• One (1) year technical experience (mechanical,electrical, etc.) and/or technical education. \
• Must be able to workoutdoors in inclement weather \
• Ability to climb / work safely from aportable step ladder \
• Ability to understand directions, followprocedures, and complete tasks with minimal oversight \
• Effectivecommunication skills both written and verbal \
• Ability to move andmanipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds). \
• Valid driver\'s license andacceptable driving record. \
• 10% travel \
• Eligible to work in theUnited States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or inthe future Preferred Skills \
• EPA certification preferred \
• CommercialHVAC experience \
• Experience with PV maintenance, including DC systems,AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring \
• Experience in an industrial environment dealing with machine repair andmaintenance (Manufacturing, Automotive, Food Processing, Automation,Facilities) as a maintenance technician, electrician, electronic tech,field engineer or technician, service tech, etc. \
• Experience with theoperation of various SCADA systems \
• Skilled in the use of testingequipment and tools such as Thermographic Electrical Inspection, I-VCurve Tracing, Meggers, and Ground Fault Detection \
• Strong Analyticaland Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct problems found\
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard practices \
• Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-linediagrams / schematics \
• Proficiency with MS Office suite This is asafety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers ofemployment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negativeresult to begin working for the company. Base Pay \$ 28.67
