PAY:

35.00-37.00 per hour depending on shift

Hours:

50+ hrs/wk

Shift:

Can fluctuate between 10-12 hours and 5-6 days per week (Need to be flexible) This is mostly fab shop work on sch10 stainless pipe, with occasional carbon. May also assist with structural fitting occasionally. As part of a hardworking team of diverse Welders, Fabricators, and engineers, you will Fabricate and assist welders to produce flight hardware for various spaceflight systems fluid components using TIG welding (GTAW). You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of these operations ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Mechanical aptitude, ability to follow detailed technical instructions and clearly communicate both verbal and written instructions is paramount. In this role you will collaborate with engineering to implement and refine new manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

This position is an entry level position. High School Diploma or GED. Self-sufficient with little oversight. 6 months - 1 year of GTAW welding experience Ability to fabricate and use basic hand tools with little oversight. Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be able to pass a written math test and a practical hands-on fabrication test. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

Some technical coursework and/or AA technical degree/equivalent. Current GTAW certifications in accordance with

AWS D17.1.
