Job Description

Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Description Premier Dental Center Bulverde located in Spring Branch, TX is a general dentistry clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment for our employees. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our team full time Monday-Thursday. This role is crucial in supporting our Dentist chairside and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow in our practice. Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and materials. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, such as fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, extractions, etc. Ensure the patient's comfort throughout the procedure. Greet and prepare patients for their visit. Explain procedures and answer any questions patients may have. Record and update patient medical histories and personal information. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Perform preliminary assessments, including measuring blood pressure. Schedule patient appointments. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Monitor and order dental supplies and equipment as needed. Ensure the dental operatory is stocked and organized. Follow protocols for infection control and sterilization of instruments and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental operatory and office. Work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure a smooth workflow. Assist in training and mentoring new dental assistants or staff members. Provide patients with information on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Educate patients on preventive dental care and maintenance. Be prepared to respond to dental emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed. Stay updated with the latest dental technologies, procedures, and regulations. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.

Salary Description $23-$26/hr
