Job Title:

CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and set up CNC Mills and Lathes, including Makino, Milltronics, and other machines. The role requires proficiency in basic G & M codes, and familiarity with programs like Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazatrol, and Conversational programming. The successful candidate will perform mechanical changes using hand tools, read blueprints for machine setup and quality checks, and use various measuring tools to ensure products meet client standards. Documentation of all actions in the company database is also required. Responsibilities Operate CNC Mills and Lathes (Makino, Milltronics, etc.) Set up specific programs for Mills and Lathes using basic G & M codes Use Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazatrol, and Conversational programming Perform mechanical changes with hand tools for different tooling heads Read and use blueprints for machine setup and quality checks Use different measuring tools to ensure product quality Document all actions in the company database Essential Skills Experience in CNC operation and setup Proficiency in inspection processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints Familiarity with basic G & M codes Knowledge of Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazatrol, and Conversational programming Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2-year CNC degree or 2 years of CNC Mill or Lathe operation and setup experience Candidates with only laser CNC experience will not be considered Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mankato, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47216.00 - $47216.00/yr.
