This team driven philosophy remains our prime focus each and every day. The Foreman will install and maintain the electrical wiring, hardware, and systems in the building. Systems to include Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, Video Surveillance, & Communication. This is a hybrid role for the Foreman that is looking to expand their knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Please note the essential functions may vary depending on technical knowledge, certification requirements and willingness to excel. Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and devices in buildings. Installs conduits and raceways to house electrical wires and cables. Ensures raceway installation complies with electrical codes. Installs low voltage communication cabling in Listed cable hangers. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. Connects electrical systems to low voltage systems for powering of systems. Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. Replaces conduit and wiring as needed. Replaces circuit breakers as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities :
Ability to read blueprints for both high and low voltage special systems. Extensive knowledge of high & low voltage systems and wiring. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of relevant field experience.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
