MSP Level 2 Help Desk Technician (3 Yrs Exp Req.) Netsphere Technologies, Inc. Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 • Hybrid work Looking for an Experienced Managed Services Level 2 Help Desk Technician Looking to make a change to a company that values people with initiative and wants to hear your ideas on how to improve technical solutions or our service delivery? We are a well-established (21 years) and growing MSP providing full service IT consulting and support. We have a fully staffed help desk and we support small and mid-sized businesses with 10 to 100 computers on Microsoft Windows networks. We use industry standard main-stream solutions to standardize our client environments and create predictable, reliable, and secure networks. With our growth we need the right person to hit the ground running that also has the potential to grow with the company. We're looking for an experienced MSP Help Desk technician who is comfortable changing gears quickly switching between clients and technical environments. The right person is familiar with RMM tools and ticketing systems. A successful Help Desk / IT Support candidate has a great phone presence and is comfortable dealing with all levels of individuals at the other end of the phone from VPs at vendors to users with limited technical skills. Qualifications of a successful Help Desk / IT Support candidate: Must have personality plus the ability and desire to connect with people. To us interpersonal skills are just as important as technical skills. Our business is based on long term relationships and the candidate must continue to build those relationships. The desire and ability to mesh with a close-knit team of professionals in a small business atmosphere. The drive to develop professionally and personally. Excellent troubleshooting methodology. Ability to multi-task and switch gears often to comfortably address Tier 1-2 level issues. Ability to step back and see the big picture, not just the task at hand. Attention to detail demonstrated by taking accurate documentation and timecards. Must have worked for a managed service provider before with onsite experience. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administrative tasks
AD, GP, DNS, DHCP.
Experience managing Microsoft 365 tenants. Experience with RMM solutions as well as ticketing systems. Excellent phone presence. Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, and reliable team player. Job responsibilities of the MSP Help Desk role include handling support calls, managing client accounts with their hardware and software vendors, as well as local on-site consulting at times.

About Us:
Netsphere Technologies (www.netspheretech.com) is a stable growing business providing comprehensive IT support to small and medium-sized businesses in the Chicago area. Most of our clients use us as their outsourced IT department as they are not large enough to have a full-time staff. To fulfill that role, we assist with all aspects of their technology from networking, security, Internet services, VoIP, email, hardware procurement, as well as hardware and software support. Additional non-technical requirements of the position: Must be authorized to access ITAR data. Hybrid job remote and onsite at client sites local to Chicago area. Able to commit to 40 hours per week. Available to work occasional evenings (mostly remote) and/or weekends. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client sites.
