Provide direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency department or inpatient area utilizing various nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction of a registered nurse. Qualifications Other information:- High School Diploma or GED
- Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
- BLS required
- PDS IV Certification course (within orientation period)
- Basic Cardiac Arrythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is used (prior to ACLS)
- ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for areas where required
