Full Job Description Amalga Job Description Position:

CNC Lathe Set Up & Operator Starting Salary:

$20.00 -$24.00 on first shift. Raises after 3 and 6 month. Paid weekly.

Training:

Training for this position takes place on first shift.

Job Description:

Operate CNC machine tools from written set up instructions and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print. •Preferred Skill. Run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell. Perform setups and adjust programs to conform to designated tolerances. Maintain the required quality and cleanliness standards. Proficiency in required measuring equipment for respective work performed. Solid math skills. Perform progressive machining operations to specs. Possess a strong knowledge of blueprint reading. Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement culture including lean initiatives. Possess basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and understanding of control functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Enjoy mentoring or training operators in certain repetitive jobs.

Minimum Education or Certificate Requirement:

High School diploma or G.E.D. Minimum Time in

Equivalent Position:

6 months to 2 years of CNC set up and operation.
