Job Description
This is a temporary position:
4-6 weeks. There is hybrid flexability.Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Provides support in managing real property assets; utilizes Real Property database applications to maintain accountability of real property Reviews all in-grant and out-grant real estate documents to ensure accuracy of recorded information related to acreage, rent paid, rent received, term of use, etc. Makes recommendations for acquisition of real property interests by fee or lessor interest (e.g., lease, easements, license, permit.) Prepares planning and staff reports. Prepares real property inventory (RPI) reports for Government Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO) upon request. Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of real property information. Works in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to record, track, and report RPI information. Works in the Real Property Analysis System (RPLANS) to record, track and report real property cat codes and property measurements. Conducts RPI inspections and records findings in GFEBS and RPLANS. Drafts and submits RPI DD Form 1354 - Transfer and Acceptance of DoD Real Property and DA Form 337 - Request for Approval of Disposal of Buildings & Improvements to USAG-Picatinny Arsenal Real Property Accountable Officer for review and signature/approval. Maintains RPI voucher registers of all vouchers, detailing acquisitions, capital improvements, disposal, capital decreases, area/capacity changes, and category code changes pertaining to accountable real property at the installation. Maintains real property records and files in accordance with Army Regulation (AR) 405-45; AR 415-28, and DA Pamphlet 405-45 & DA Pamphlet 415-28. Maintains real property records and files in accordance with The Real Property Audit Preparation Handbook. Creates Letters of Attestation in accordance with Army Regulations and submits to review by higher command. Provides support for real property records management and files for CFOA (Chief Financial Officer Act) audits. Ensures all occupied facilities are assigned to occupants/users. Works with Master Planning & Engineering to capitalize new construction, alterations and facility improvements in GFEBS. Documents the disposal of RPI in GFEBS. Composes correspondence, collects, complies and analyses moderately complex data and information.Assists Master Planner with:
Development and implementation of the Installation Status Report (ISR) Development & update of the Real Property Master Plan (RPMP) Space utilization and allocation surveys/reports Real Property Planning Board (RPPB) briefs. Participates in planning projects that range from routine to moderately difficult; and performs related work as assigned. Supports the project Safety Plan though personal involvement in all aspects of Safety, including training, safety protective equipment and clothing, and adhering to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.Accountable For:
Timely, accurate, cost-effective performance of duties. Compliance with contract requirements and company policies and procedures, including Rules of Conduct. Working closely and harmoniously with other employees. Adherence to all safety and health rules and regulations. Prudent management of Government Furnished Property (GFP) assigned to and under employee's jurisdiction. Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations): US Citizen High school diploma or higher education that demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities to do perform essential duties and job functions. 1-3 years of experience in real property or industrial property management Knowledge of standard practices related to property management such as cost estimating, environmental programs, or master planning/zoning. Proficient in MS Word, PPT, Outlook (MS Office 2013) Advanced use of Excel (MS Office 2013) and ability to develop and/or modify spreadsheets, use formulas, validation tables, data manipulation, etc. Proficient database and spreadsheet skills to prepare detailed correspondence, reports, forms, statistical, and technical materials with accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, often with large volumes of complex data Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and internal and external clients. Must be able to pass drug screen and background check Must be able to obtain and maintain secret security clearance.Job Types:
