This position will be a direct placement. The salary is between $60,000 - 75,000 depending on experience. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is responsible for planning all departments of production. Responsibilities Ability to work with all levels of the plant to reach reasonable solutions to issues and concerns. Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors and internal customers. Schedule pipe production. Assess and order appropriate powder/supplies for coatings. Schedules Rebar department production. Modify production schedule as needed. Adjust schedules, as needed, to account for short lead time orders. Working with Operations Manager to ensure correct staffing levels for each day's production. Monitor and approve purchase of raw materials for production. Communicate with outside inspectors to ensure availability with production schedule. Meet with sales team and management as needed to review current/planned production and review any new or recurring issues. Qualifications Proficiency at Microsoft suite products as well as office equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Highschool diploma or equivalent required, BS preferred. Previous manufacturing experience required, experience with coatings preferred. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs at a time.
