Accounting Clerk Distribution Management Saint Charles, MO 63304 Hybrid work Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor and located in our St. Charles, MO Headquarters, the Cash Application Specialist will:

• Post daily lockbox, ETF/ACH and manual remittance deposits to customer accounts
• Reconcile daily credit card payment batches
• Reconcile each batch as it is posted and balance to bank deposits
• Correct payment posting discrepancies to balance payment information
• Post various cash adjustments to AR system for NSF checks, bad debt write-offs, and customer refunds
• Work closely with Credit department to ensure payments are posted accurately
• Manage customer resale certificates and issue tax credits as necessary-prior tax knowledge required
• Issue and approve customer credits
• Various G/L account reconciliation
• General filing for AP department
• Open and sort daily mail for accounting department
• Updating various Excel spreadsheets
• Special projects needed by controller Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years Accounting and AR/Cash application experience
• Business or Accounting degree
• Sales tax experience-monthly filings and customer resale certificates
• Speed and accuracy skills in 10-key
• Works well under deadlines
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Detail Oriented
