Server Technician Job Summary:

TechyParts LLC is a growing IT system parts broker that buys, sells, and refurbishes off-lease computer, server, and network equipment. We are seeking an ambitious, hardworking, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a full-time Server Builder and Tester. Your primary responsibility will be to build, test and or scrap computer servers. If you have experience building computers and servers, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Build and test servers to ensure successful operation. Scrap servers and receive parts as needed Flash servers using an internal script to ensure correct operating status. Test assortment of server equipment and accessories. Assemble customer orders to spec.

Requirements:

Knowledge of building and testing computers (server knowledge is a plus). Consistent and reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license. High school diploma. Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a regular basis. Excel/Calc spreadsheet knowledge is required. Must be located within 15-25 mi near Burnsville, Minnesota, USA. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.

Compensation and Schedule:

Competitive hourly rate of $25+ per hour, negotiable based on experience. Full-time in-person position, Pick your own hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-6:30PM (minimum 35 hours per week). Paid time off with paid holidays.
