Responsibilities:

Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies Determine new customers' insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible Process current policyholders' insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus About Company Devotion to its policy owners has led New York Life to over 176 years of industry success.
