Heavy Equipment Operator LandrumHR Workforce Solutions Inc Amarillo, TX 79108 Heavy Equipment Operator GE Vernova in Amarillo, TX, a company focused on renewable energy, is looking for a full-time Equipment Operator to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

May operate a variety of general, small, and simple equipment in the performance of construction and maintenance which may include: loaders, skid steers, knuckle boom loaders, track hoes, gradalls, bush hogs, flatbeds, chainsaws, weed eaters, and/or other related equipment Inspects, maintains, and performs basic repair to equipment Utilizes a two-way radio and/or hand signals to communicate information to work crewmembers Operates a variety of small motorized and/or hand tools if performing manual labor activities Maintains a variety of records, logs, and applicable documentation Performs other duties of a similar nature or level

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and some experience with heavy equipment and/or construction equipment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Occupational hazards and safety precautions; General equipment and vehicle maintenance principles; Customer service principles; Safe driving practices. Providing customer service; Caring for and operating motor vehicles and applicable equipment Maintaining records; Communication, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Compensation & Benefits:
