In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the smooth transition of new employees into our organization. Job Summary The Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. You will work closely with school administrators to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Additionally, you will oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and successful integration into the organization. Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from job posting to candidate selection Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and industry-specific platforms Screen resumes and applications, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and assess candidate qualifications Collaborate with administrators to understand position requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies Coordinate and schedule interviews, prepare interview materials, and provide feedback to candidates Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork completion, orientation, and training Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and onboarding records Requirements Previous experience in recruiting or HR-related role Knowledge of early childhood education field is a huge plus Familiarity with recruiting software and applicant tracking systems, such as Workable Knowledge of best practices in recruitment and onboarding processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Knowledge of employment laws and regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required) Benefits Insurance/Benefits Paid Parental Leave Medical, Dental and Vision FMLA Short Term Disability Paid Life Insurance/supplemental 401(k) program retirement savings w/company match - extra money!
