Position Summary:
Looking to start your pharmacy career or perhaps make a change to a closed-door pharmacy setting? Join our Pharmacy Support Staff- Back End team with Omnicare and work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering the best customer support.
Day In The Life:
As an Back-End Pharmacy Support staff member, you will work to process facility returns, coordinate restocking, and pre-packaging medications for our patients. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.Additional tasks and responsibilities include:
Preparing the finished prescriptions as well as other light warehouse duties Performing physical inventories of medication Scanning all medication pending for delivery Sorting baskets for delivery by facility units, location, and delivery timesThe Team:

Position SummaryESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform all tasks in accordance to OSHA and Facility safety guidelines. Process facility returns in the computer system accurately and timely. Restock medications in appropriate locations after processing. Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate updating. Read put away labels to determine storage location of merchandise and verify item is correct. Package medications in unit dose packages accurately. Perform other duties as required by Supervisor/Management.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management. Operate battery changing equipment. Required Qualifications Ability to read and write. Work overtime as required, in emergency situations or when prior notification is given by management.Physical Demands:
This position has an occasional lifting requirement (0-33%). Other physical activities include Frequent bending/reaching/stooping (25%) Frequent walking/standing/climbing (25%)Work Environment :
Warehouse and outside environments, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry Education High School diploma or equivalent. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $16.00- $26.
