We will ensure the closing process is handled properly and in a professional manner.
Summary/Objective:
The Escrow Assistant is responsible for efficiently processing escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Essential Functions:

Works under the direction of the Escrow Officer to ensure all business operating practices are executed in a timely manner. Review and understand residential Real Estate Contracts. Identify and resolve potential issues with title histories Understand and prepare deeds Research, analyze, and evaluate information required to clear title requirements Verify legal descriptions and ownership of properties. Prepare documents required for closing. Complies with all regulatory requirements. Understands, follows, and stays current on all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook. Follows instructions and responds to management direction. Performs all essential functions by being physically present at the worksite on a full-time basis. Interact with clients, realtors, and other industry professionals in a manner that reflects professionalism and exhibits company core values.
Competencies:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. Ability to comprehend and write instructions, correspondence and memos with proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills over the phone and in face-to-face interactions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Ability to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow-through and to follow all regulatory and company procedures. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to effectively utilize title processing and basic computer software.
