Full Job Description Work Schedule:
5/2 schedule (Monday through Friday) 8-hour shifts during the day
Job Summary:
Spartan is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Technician I to join our team at the South Cowden facility. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, diagnose equipment failures, and perform necessary repairs to support the achievement of quality and production goals. This position requires a technically proficient individual capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing timely solutions. Collaborate with production staff to meet established quality and quantity targets. Monitor equipment performance, conducting inspections and adjustments as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or a similar technical role (preferred). Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work the designated schedule and adapt to operational needs. Familiarity with oil and gas production equipment is a plus. High school Degree or GED is required
