We're seeking a dedicated Financial and Treatment Coordinator to lead treatment plan management while overseeing critical financial operations, including outstanding payments, insurance coverage, and payment plans. Key Responsibilities As a Financial and Treatment Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in our practice, managing both treatment plans and financial operations with a high level of precision and care.Your responsibilities will include:
Treatment Coordination Reviewing and uploading diagnostic images and records for the doctor to assess. Creating individualized treatment plans and presenting them to patients, answering all questions or concerns. Scheduling patient appointments for treatment procedures and follow-ups. Ensuring seamless communication between the doctor and patients to deliver outstanding service. Supporting the preparation and organization of treatment areas to ensure a smooth workflow. Financial Management Discussing financial aspects of treatment with patients, including payment plans, insurance coverage, and outstanding balances. Managing accounts receivable (AR), billing, and end-of-day reconciliation of payments (cash, check, credit). Monitoring outstanding payments, following up with patients as needed, and ensuring timely resolution. Preparing and processing financial reports to track operational metrics and payment collections. Assisting patients with understanding their financial responsibilities, insurance benefits, and payment options. Leadership and Office Operations Maintaining and optimizing the clinical calendar to ensure operational efficiency. Supporting additional management duties under the guidance of the doctor and administrator. Upholding a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment. Acting as a team lead and providing leadership in daily office operations. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in dental or financial fields are a plus). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental specialty office, focusing on treatment planning, financial management, and patient care. Expertise in accounts receivable (AR), billing, and financial reconciliation, with strong knowledge of dental insurance and payment processes. Exceptional professional etiquette and strong communication skills (written and verbal). Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines with precision. Tech-savvy with experience in EMR systems and digital imaging uploads. A positive attitude, team-player mentality, and passion for delivering excellent patient care.
